The Government Relations Committee is actively involved with an issue in Warren County. Warren County is the only county around the lake that doesn’t have County-wide zoning. Property owners in zoned neighborhoods on the lake can be negatively affected by activities on nearby unzoned land. We are keeping members apprised of the situation via email.

Planning is being completed for this year's Five County Forum. We bring together the County Managers and local Commissioners and Supervisors for a morning-long exchange of information. It is a good opportunity to learn about lake issues and also a chance to meet and chat with some of the folks who run your County government. The Forum is planned for the morning of March 19, 2020, at the Lake Gaston Lion’s Club, 139 Stanley Rd, Henrico, NC 27842. It begins at 9 a.m. and will run to noon.
